For every Thanksgiving meal, a key ingredient for the most flavorful dishes is a well-made Turkey Stock.

We tend to forget about this simple step, using whatever we might have in the pantry. Maybe Chicken Stock, or Beef stock. But there’s nothing like your own turkey stock.

I was inspired by Sam Sifton’s Simple Turkey Stock recipe found in his book “Thanksgiving, How To Cook It Well”. I did make some adjustments to the recipe.

This is a simple turkey stock that I used for the Turkey Roast, the Turkey Bone Broth, and The Fresh Bread Dressing.

This can definitely be used post-Thanksgiving. You need to season some white rice? Why use water if you have Turkey Stock. Making a simple soup with veggies, use your Turkey Stock. Versatile, delicious and easy to make. What more do you need.

Here is the recipe. I hope you enjoy it!
